Just finished up a three day craft show.  Well, it is four days if you count the day before when I set up the booth.  That is four days away from home, all day from early until late.  Yep, I realize that I used to work a full time job and had a full at home family to take care of as well.  Somehow, that seems like another person, another life - before MS.

At this point, crafting is what I do and that means that craft shows and booth set up are part of what can sell my finished crafts.  It is much easier to buy from someone that you can meet, talk to and see the finished products in person.  It is also a great way just to get out and meet other crafters and those who appreciate the hand crafted items that are available at the shows.

The next craft show is in about three weeks and is a one day show.  That means that set up will begin at daylight for a full day until break down in the late afternoon.  I will have an outdoor booth so will be setting up the tent cover and possibly addiing the sides, depending on the weather.  If the weather is forcast for windy with rain, I want to keep finished items dry and secure.  The show is local, so I only have drive across town rather than to the next county!

These shows can take a toll on all and my craft room is not immune to the woes of what happens after a show.  When I got home and unloaded all the tables and tubs and display items, they just kind of got piled up.  At this point, I have to put all those things back in their storage place before I can begin my next project.  This takes a little time and energy.  Of course, it will be done in a jiffy so I can begin my next creation!
